5 Steps To Feel More Confident As a Coach

Are there days that you feel less confident as you wanted to? Days that you feel depress that things aren’t going well which then takes a beating on your confidence level. Fret not because here are five steps to boost your confidence level. As a coach, there are days when I don’t feel as confident as I liked to be. So, here are the steps that I took to pump up my confidence level.   

Step 1: Focus on what you are good at.

When you focus on what you are good at, it is going to give you the boost of confidence. When you do things that you are good in, it automatically gives you the good vibes which adds on to your confidence level. So, whenever you feel low confidence kicking in, focus on doing what you are good at and see the change in your confidence level.

Step 2: Surround yourself with cheerleaders.

This step is important because when you surround yourself with people who can support you, people who cheer you on, this will automatically give you an extra boost of confidence. So many times in our life, we are surrounded by people who does not support us, who does not cheer us on. That is the reason why we sometimes feel low in confidence. We don’t have confidence in ourselves because we are surrounded by people who don’t believe in us. When we surround ourselves with people who believe in us, easily we can get the confidence that we are looking for. Step 3: Start doing things that will help you feel confident.

When I did coaching, I realized I feel more confident when I dressed up. This action is something simple and it worked really well for me. It has helped me to feel confident. By dressing up, I feel confident and thus I am able to act confident. With this, I become more confident. Little things like this does add up to boost my confidence level. By dressing confidently, I feel more confident.

Step 4: Act confident.

This step is about act as if you are confident. It is so important to act confident. You got to be, do and then you will have. If you want to have confidence, you got to be confident. You got to make that decision to be confident. Making the decision to be confident is one step that will make the difference. You make the decision to be confident. You  act as if you are confident. By acting as if you are confident, you boost your confidence vibes up.

Step 5: Practice being confident.

You got to practice being confident. You got to practice what you do. With practice, you feel more confident. There is a saying “Practice makes perfect”. Practice what you do, put yourself out there. By doing this, you build your credibility and it also helps you to gain confidence. I am much more confident now than I was 2 years ago. All this happened while I build the confidence with practicing it and putting myself out there.
